WS Library Web is a blog providing news and information for the school community.
The school library and information centre caters for the special needs of the students and staff.
The Librarian and staff provide services which include:
* advice and assistance with appropriate reading material
* assistance to students participating in the Premier's Reading Challenge
* loans - books, magazines and other items
* providing student requested items
* use of Internet facilities,
* wireless access for laptops,
* photocopying and printing
* assistance with locating research information,
* assistance with computer presentation of work,
* access to Mathletics and help with specific questions,
* recommendation of suitable e learning websites etc
* assistance for staff including resource acquisitions, resource boxes and lesson preparation
* displaying student work in the library
* creating themed displays for special events and educational topics
The library provides a caring and nurturing environment for students during class and non-class periods of the day as well as at recess, lunch and before school from 7:30 am
